Al Bairre released their new song “Julia” last week, and then subsequently announced two shows in Cape Town in wake of the release of their brand new single. This will be the first time that the band will have the opportunity to perform their new music to their audience of adoring fans, and serves as a good warm-up ahead of their performance at Oppikoppi.
The first show shall be taking place on 28 July at Aandklas, Stellenbosch. It shall see these indie-pop heavyweights once again gracing Stellenbosch with their glorious presence, and being supported by Jackal and the Wind, and The Jumping Guns. The second show shall be taking place on 1 August at the prestigious The Assembly where the band shall be supported by Jackal and the Wind, and Early Hours.
Cape Town Music Scene is giving away a set of double tickets to both these shows. All you have to do to enter is comment below with your favourite Al Bairre song and the show that you shall be attending. The winner for the Stellenbosch show shall be announced on Tuesday, 28 July and the winner for the Cape Town show shall be announced on Friday, 1 August.
