The Assembly shall be kicking off their summer season of events this Saturday with an absolutely spectacular lineup curated by FutureNow. The only fitting way to celebrate the coming of Summer, even if the solstice is only on the 21st, is with a line-up that reflects every aspect of Summer. Bye Beneco shall be bringing their upbeat lethargy while Surf Joy shall be delivering their blend of indie electronica and synth pop. Emile Van Dango (The Plastics) shall be making a solo appearance while the line-up in the Annex shall be delivering obscure and upbeat electronic beats from Jacobsnake, Omar Morto and more. The full line-up can be found on the Facebook event page.
This FutureNow party promises to be one that celebrates all the weird and wonderful things about Summer in the most eccentric and eclectic way possible. South African Music Scene shall be giving one lucky reader the chance to experience this party in style as we are giving away a set of six tickets and R200 bar tab to the person who can convince us in the comments below why they deserve these tickets. We are also giving away two sets of double passes to the runner-ups. So go forth and win us over with a tale about why you deserve to celebrate Summer with The Assembly and FutureNow.
